This place is unbelievable. You get great value for your money! I got two enchiladas verdes with rice and beans for $9. I don't remember the last time I had Mexican food so delicious. The people working there were so kind, too! You should definitely stop by and grab a Mexican coke while you're at it :)

This place is hands down my favorite place to eat in Abilene. We've been stationed here for 8 years and this is exactly what this base needed. These nice people work so hard, and the food is spectacular. Lean, but tender meat; generous portions, and great prices. Never had a bad experience here. Food is full of flavor and you can customize it to your preference. Margaritas are great as well. They always remember my daughter because she's 9 and looooves jalapeños on her order. I also got several coworkers and friends hooked. If you can get on base, they're def worth the visit!!

Working on base when I was heading out, saw this Mexican restaurant never seen it before, stopped to check it out and ordered the breakfast burrito, man they should name it brunch burrito it was so big, it was really good and hit the spot. Habanero hot sauce is hot so if you don't like it hot go with the medium.

Food is top shelf quality. The staff are down to earth people who are real. My burrito was the best I ever had and I will be coming back here. The store is neat and clean, the presentation of the food is perfect. I love that you see you meal prepped in front of you.

After hearing all the hype about Piquin on base, we finally tried it.  I was impressed with the food.  I went with the Piquin Salad without the shell, Mexican rice (so flavorful), black beans, and steak.  The mango pico de gallo was excellent, with a hint of spice.  This reminded me of Sharkey's, but better.  The service here was fast and friendly, even with the constant coming and going of customers.  I look forward to trying more food items from here.
